Artist, Cat Lover, Harry Potter Aficionado

Hello there! I'm Emily Carrier, and as the title says, I am an artist, lover of all cats, and a connoisseur of all Harry Potter related things. I am a college admission adviser for a prestigious art school, freelance portrait artist, and a graduate student. I studied illustration for four years at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and am now working on my MFA in Painting. SCAD has provided me with many tools and techniques to add to my illustrator/painting repertoire and is continuing to help me grow as an artist.

I have been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon. My love for art only grew with time. My art style has evolved from character design and children’s book illustration to watercolor portraiture.

I am an artist based in the Savannah, Georgia area living with my four cats. When we aren’t working on new pieces, we are usually re-watching our favorite movies and shows or reading a good fantasy novel.
